IMG_4152Holiday high five everyone! One of our warm-up activities recently asked the children to go around the room and give friendly greetings to all. Before we started, we watched a very funny commercial of an elf greeter that wasn’t so friendly this holiday season. Some of the social secrets we shared included:

  • Look at the person.
  • Smile.
  • Use a friendly voice.
  • Respect personal space.
  • High fives should be “just right” and not “too much.”
  • Spread Christmas cheer just like Buddy the Elf.
  • Smiling is contagious.
  • Acknowledging others by saying hello gives people good thoughts about us!
